While the season of warm summer evenings is almost over, you still have a few weeks to spot some beautiful sunsets over Budapest’s iconic landmarks. Thanks to the city’s excellent location, you do not even have to leave the city centre, but make sure you explore these hidden gems for a more unique experience.

You will find another secret spot if you make your way to the castle walls between Sándor Palace and the Fountain of the Fishing Children: you will get the feeling that “the whole castle is all yours”.

Nehru Part

You cannot go wrong with the Danube Promenade on the Pest side, either: with those views on the Liberty Bridge and Gellért Hill, it is a great place for panoramas any time of the day and year. Located right next to the Danube between the iconic building of Bálna and the Boráros Square transit station, Nehru Part is a quiet green park with sheltering trees, pebbled paths, and plenty of playgrounds.
